Sony announces new Bloggie Touch pocket video camera
Sony announced a new line up of Bloggie pocket camcorders but they didn’t do to well in the market. Now the company is back with a touch screen which gives a good solid first impression. It will have a three inch capacitive touch screen in a aluminum body. For internal storage, you have options of four GB or eight GB. It has a 1080p sensor which should give good quality videos. There is also a 12.8 megapixel sensor for talking stills. It comes with F2.8 wide angle lens and also a Exmor CMOS sensor. There is HDMI output and built in USB connector. As expected from such camcorders, the Sony Bloggie Touch has plenty of options for sharing the videos and photos on social networking sites like Flickr, Facebook, YouTube and Picasa Web Albums. For the body, you will have choice of black or silver. The 4 GB model will cost you $180 and the step up 8 GB model will put you back by $200.

The touchscreen is capacitive so you will get the same iPhone like experience. The buttons have been dumped and every thing is shifted to the touch screen display. These camcorders are really slim and don’t weigh much either. This makes carrying the device really easy.
