Sigma DP1 – An Eagerly Anticipated Camera
The Sigma DP1 undoubtedly is one of the most anticipated compact cameras of modern times, at least it holds true for the compact camera segment. The prototype of the DP1 was firstly displayed at the Photokina 2006, but after the display it took quite a long period to hit the market and the camera entered the market back in this March. The camera was so eagerly awaited that the reason for the delay was explained in an official statement by the company. Sigma stated in an official statement that the delay in the camera launch took place because of the urge to change the specifications of the camera’a imaging pipeline. Now many of you might be asking “what is all the fuss about the Sigma DP1?” So, let us tell you that it’s the Sensor of the camera.
