The Nikon Coolpix P500 is the latest offering from Nikon and is the latest full-size megazoom by Nikon. The P500 comes with a 36x f3.4-5.7 21.5-800mm lens (35mm equivalent), which is way better than the 26x, f2.8-5 26-678mm lens of its precursor P100 and at the same time beats the PowerShot SX30 IS from Canon having 35x, f2.7-5.8, 24-840mm.
