Casio Tryx – Unparalleled Design and Exciting Shooting Options

thumbnail
The first thing that will come to you mind when you look at Casio Tryx is that Casio has turned a smartphone into a single-function camera. The Tryx has the dimensions of a smartphone, a fixed-focal-length lens that is seen generally on mobiles and a 3 in touch screen. The fixed-focal-length lens of the Tryx comes with better specifications. The overall design of the camera is not like a consventional smartphone or even like the conventional point-and-shoot camera with its display having ability to pivot through a complete 360 degrees, while the screen itself can rotate complete 270 degrees. With the in-built orientation sensor, you can hold the camera in either of your hands and the picture will adjust itself automatically. The rotating and swiveling design of the camera offers an  [...]

New Casio Exilim: New Judge Of Your Golf Swing

thumbnail
Almost every point-and-shoot camera in the market has the same functions and features, except for the very few rare exceptions, which have carved their own niche. This is the reason why buying point-and-shoot cameras becomes easy and sometimes confusing. Some of the rare exceptions we mentioned earlier include the Samsung's dual-LCD compacts, which are perfect for the people who want to make their own portraits. Another exception is Casio’s all new Exilim EX-FC160S, which is geared towards golfers. This all new camera comes with a 10-megapixel backside-illuminated sensor, which allows the golfers to record Videos at 240fps. But when you play this clip at 30fs it gives a slow motion clip and the Exilim will overlies lines on the screen to let you figure out how good is your swing. The camera also comes with a 5x optical zoom lens that is widest at 37mm. Most of the compact cameras these days come with a 28mm wide-angle glass. In addition to this  [...]

If, you hate loosing your shots because of the slow performance of your camera, then its time you switch to the Casio Exilim EX-FH100. The Casio Exilim EX-FH100 camera has a high-speed lens in a compact body and delivers high speed shooting performance. Casio Exilim EX-S5 – budget-friendly camera with low features

thumbnail
Casio Exilim EX-S5 is capable of producing good photos and they looks nice. It feels well built except for its battery compartment door. The Exilim EX-S5 is easy to use camera with good feature and costs $130. Casio has made the EX-S5 ultra-compact, but its performance is not good and shutter lag is long. Your thumb will rest between a dedicated Movie button and the right edge of LCD. If you press the Movie mode button once, then it starts the recording. However, if you press it twice, then it stops the recording and takes you to shoot still photos. The Camera Mode and Playback buttons; set button and round directional-pad; Menu and Best Shot (BS) button are located beneath of one-press button. You can access all the settings through Menu button in Casio Exilim EX-S5. Moreover, for quick access to options, a panel of settings is also located on the right side of LCD screen. Casio Exilim EX-H10 – impresses with specs, disappoints with quality

thumbnail
Looking at the specs, you will think that this is a great camera. It has 3-inch LCD, 12 mega pixel resolution, 24mm-equivalent wide-angle lens along with a 10x zoom, 1000 shots battery life, HD movie recording which is all put in a 1 inch thick body. However, once you use this camera, you will be disappointed with the cramped control layout, average shooting performance, OK stills quality and finally the exterior body. There are two features that really impressed us, the big battery life and the lens. The latter is not very good but still is on par with other competitors. We would recommend you this camera if you are looking for such good lens in a compact size. The camera looks attractive but the buttons on it are messed up. Shutter release with zoom ring and power button is located on the top. There are two more buttons located there; one is for Landscape Mode activation that can be used to boost color saturation or to correct cloudy or misty conditions.  [...]
