Casio Upgrades Range With EX-ZS150, EX-ZS20, EX-ZS12 and EX-ZS6
2012 Consumer Electronics Show : Casio displayed the EX-ZS150, EX-ZS6, EX-ZS20 and EX-ZS12, refreshing the small camera range. All these models are equipped with 16.0-megapixel CCD sensors along with easy mode interface of Casio that provides a guide to the user with capability to simply point and shoot. The ZS150 comes with stabilized 24-300mm, 12.5 x equivalent lenses, which is identical to that of flagship ZR200. However the CCD chip means it cannot provide the high-speed features. The ZS20 features 6x unstabilized zoom, at 26mm equivalent with the Premium Auto mode of Casio. The ZS6 and ZS12 lack both these features and come with 5x, 26mm equivalent zoom lens.
By following the instructions from onscreen guide, you can capture images with optimal photographic settings. And also, by simply pointing the device at subject, all models automatically focus on landscape or on face of subject. Once the focus frame turns green, the user can press the shutter button, and sharply focused image is captured. These cameras are engineered to be easy for everyone to operate, even beginners.
The EX-ZS150 features wide angle 24mm lens with 12.5x optical zoom, which is ready to capture all kinds of scenes. On the other hand, the EX-ZS20 gets wide angle 26mm lens with 6x optical zoom in stainless steel, slim body. Both cameras are equipped with Premium Auto mode that automatically analyzes shooting scene for selecting best settings and performs photo processing. Once you set it Premium Auto mode, the devices will automatically analyze scenes and simultaneously optimize settings for ISO, exposure, focus location, sensitivity, tonal range, photo blur correction, level of noise reduction and color balance. This particular option automatically distinguishes back lighting, night scenes, green trees, sunset or blue sky.
Besides these features, all cameras get 2.7-inch LCD screen and USB charging that offers users a capability for recharging the battery in camera while connected to a PC.
The EX-ZS150 is priced at $229.99, and is offered in Black, Gold, Green and Vivid Pink.
The EX-ZS20 is available for $159.99 and comes in lack, Silver, White, Pink, Red and Blue shades.
The EX-ZS12 is available for the price of $139.99 and is offered in Black, Silver, Red and Blue colors.
The EX-ZS6 is offered in Black, Silver, Pink and Red for the price of $119.99.
