Sony Introduces Five Zoom Compacts
Sony has introduced 4 GPS enabled CMOS zoom cameras, ranging from 16x DSC-HX10V to 30x DSC-HX200V. The DSS-HX20V comes with 20x zoom with features of 10V, while the HX30V gains Wi-Fi. All four compact cameras provide latest, yet fast autofocus and 9 creative processing filters, which Sony claims will focus in as little as 0.2sec and 0.1sec in low light. You will also find a cheaper CCD 16.0-megapixel 16x zoom model called DSC-H90.
The DSC-HX200V camera will be available for the price of $480 in March 2012 in black. Features include: 30x optical zoom lens with 60x digital Clear Image Zoom at full resolution; Exmor R CMOS 18.2 MP sensor; Lightning-fast AF speed of 0.24 seconds in low-light and 0.13 second in daylight; Extra High Sensitivity technology that enhances low-light shooting capabilities; can capture 13MP equivalent still images while shooting video through “Dual-Record”; 3.0-inch tilting LCD screen with 921k dots; Photo Creativity interface; Full HD Movie Shooting capability [...]
